Wesley Turner

Wesley is a registered psychologist and a clinical psychologist registrar. He is in the final stages of completing his PhD in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University.

Wesley is passionate about working with individuals and Autism Spectrum Conditions, and conducts individual, group and couples therapy, and congnitive assessments. His practice is guided by evidence-based interventions including Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. Prior to beginning his clinical training at Griffith University, Wesley was employed as an ABA Therapist, where he was responsible for the behavioural treatment of children with ASC, as well as the training and supervision of new ABA Therapists. His clinical interest areas include addictions and coping, emotion understanding and management, resilience and hope, couples therapy, and trauma. Wesley greatly values helping individuals, couples and families to develop and improve their abilities to overcome challenges and enjoy life.
