Ava Wilkinson
At Minds & Hearts, I provide administrative support across the clinic, working closely with our clinical team to ensure that every client feels welcomed, and supported from their first interaction.
Alongside this role, I am completing my studies in psychological science, with the aim of pursuing a career in Clinical Neuropsychology. My time at Minds & Hearts has shaped this path, strengthening my commitment to working with neurodivergent individuals and their families. Having grown up in a neurodivergent household, I bring both lived experience and academic grounding to this work.
What I find most rewarding is being part of a dedicated and considered team, whose commitment to client care continues to inform my own aspirations. I take great satisfaction in knowing that my work behind the scenes contributes meaningfully to that care.
Before joining Minds & Hearts, I spent over a decade in the performing arts – an experience that sparked my interest in human expression and the workings of the mind, which naturally led me toward psychology. It instilled in me a strong sense of discipline and work ethic, and shaped the warmth and humour I bring to my interactions with colleagues, clinicians, and clients.
