Regarding the Minds & Hearts website is secured with an SSL certificate, ensuring that all data transmitted through our referral form is encrypted and protected during transfer. You can tell our site is secure by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar and the “https://” at the beginning of our web address.
Regarding Gravity Forms given it is hosted on a secure, encrypted server, all information submitted—including personal and sensitive client details—is protected by SSL encryption during transmission. Any uploaded files (such as reports or supporting documents) are stored in a secure, non-public folder that cannot be accessed by the public or indexed by search engines. These files can only be accessed by the Practice Manager and the Clinic Directors, and only through two layers of password protection, ensuring strict confidentiality and controlled access. Gravity Forms applies advanced access controls to safeguard client information, and our team follows strict data handling protocols in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and current cybersecurity standards.
Regarding Medical Objects, a secure, encrypted communication platform widely used across Australia for the transmission of clinical information. Medical Objects enables point-to-point messaging that links directly to a clinician’s provider number, ensuring that referrals are sent quickly and securely to the correct provider—without relying on email or web forms. Minds & Hearts accepts Medical Objects referrals addressed to a Director of your choice.

M&H is led by Clinical Psychologists, Dr David Zimmerman, Dr Wesley Turner, and Dr Hugh Walker who are Board-Approved Supervisors and have over 30-years of experience combined in the assessment and therapy for neurodiverse groups. They are regularly asked to present on topics to universities, hospitals and schools as well as provide training to other private clinics.

Our Team:
Our team has an additional we have an additional 16 health professionals comprised of psychology and speech therapy who see clients across the lifespan. Every single clinician is receiving individual supervision plus weekly group training by the Directors to review each case and ensure quality and ethical care is provided. Our training ensures that all clinicians are competent in trauma-informed and neuro-informed care which can include CBT, ACT, DBT, CFT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, Psychodynamic Therapy as well as capacity building programs for emotion regulation, social skills, and executive functioning.
